Prisoner Executed in Secrecy in South Khorasan, Iran

Naser Rahimi (Rakhshani), a prisoner from Zahedan, was secretly executed in the Central Prison of Qaen, South Khorasan Province.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the death sentence of Naser Rahimi, a 32-year-old resident of Mashhad and father of a child, was carried out in Qaen Central Prison.

Rahimi was arrested three years ago and sentenced to capital punishment for drug-related charges by the Iranian Judiciary.

Rahimi was denied his right to a final meeting with his family, and his execution was conducted in secret, without his family's knowledge.

As of the release of this report, the news of Rahimi's execution has not been covered by Iranian state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
