Report: The Death Sentences of Two Prisoners Carried Out in Arak Central Prison

The death sentences of two prisoners named Mehdi Hosseini and Amir Tasbihi, who were previously sentenced to death by the Iranian Judiciary for drug-related charges, were carried out in Arak Central Prison.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, August 4, 2024, the death sentences of Mehdi Hosseini from Arak and Amir Tasbihi from Saveh were carried out in the central prison of Arak.

According to a reliable source, Mehdi Hosseini was arrested six years ago, and Amir Tasbihi was arrested two years ago on drug-related charges. Both were subsequently sentenced to death by the Iranian Judiciary.

To date, the news of the execution of these two prisoners has not been announced in the Iranian state media, especially the media affiliated with the judiciary.
