Death Sentence of a Kurdish Prisoner Carried Out in Sanandaj Central Prison

The death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner named Peymanullah Weysi, who was recently transferred to the solitary cell of Sanandaj Central Prison, was carried out. He was previously sentenced to death on the charge of "premeditated murder".
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Thursday, August 15, 2024, the death sentence of 47-year-old prisoner, Peymanullah Weysi was carried out in Sanandaj Central Prison.
According to Hengaw’s sources, this prisoner was arrested 5 years ago on the charge of "premeditated murder" and was sentenced to death by the Iranian Judiciary.
Peymanullah Weysi was the brother of Aliullah Weysi, a former Kurdish political prisoner who was also released from Sanandaj prison on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, after posting a bail of 500 million tomans.
Aliullah Weysi was arrested by the Iranian security forces, on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at his workplace in Sanandaj.
