Iran Carries Out the Death Sentence of a Prisoner in Tabriz

The death sentence of a Turkish prisoner named Shahin Yusef Oghli, who had previously been sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary on drug-related charges, has been carried out at Tabriz Central Prison.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Thursday, September 26, 2024, the death sentence of Shahin Yusef Oghli, 41 years old and from Miandoab, was carried out at Tabriz Central Prison.

According to informed sources, this prisoner was arrested four years ago on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by government media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
