Supplementary Report: Death sentences of two prisoners carried out in Miyandoab Prison

The death sentences of two Kurdish prisoners from Shahindezh, named Soleiman Ghahremani and Feyzollah Hosseinpour, who had previously been arrested on charges of "premeditated murder" and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary, were carried out in Miyandoab Central Prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Monday, 9 September 2024, the death sentences of Soleiman Ghahremani, 29 years old, and Feyzollah Hosseinpour were carried out in Miyandoab Central Prison. The two prisoners had been transferred to solitary confinement on Saturday in preparation for the execution.
Feyzollah Hosseinpour, the father of three children, from the village of "Cheragh Abdal," and Soleiman Ghahremani from the village of "Hasan Lolan" were both arrested five years ago in separate cases on charges of premeditated murder and were later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
As of the time of this report's publication, the news of the execution of these two Kurdish prisoners has not been announced by state media, particularly those close to the judiciary.
