Iran Carries Out Death Sentence of Prisoner in Kermanshah Prison

The execution of a Kurdish prisoner from Kangavar, identified as Mostafa Fashi, who had been sentenced to death for premeditated murder, was carried out last week in the Central  Prison of Kermanshah.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the execution of 35-year-old Mostafa Fashi, a father of one from the village of "Fash" in Kangavar County, was carried out in Central Prison (Dizel Abad) Prison of Kermanshah.

Hengaw sources reported that Mostafa Fashi had been arrested 18 months ago on charges of premeditated murder and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

As of the time of this report, news of his execution has not been published by state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
