The death sentence of a prisoner from Malayer, identified as Malek-Hossein Torkashvand, who had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges, was carried out at the Central Prison of Hamedan (Alvand Prison).
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Monday, September 23, 2024, the death sentence of Kurdish prisoner Malek-Hossein Torkashvand from Malayer was carried out at the Central Prison of Hamedan (Alvand Prison).
Informed sources indicated that this prisoner had been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
As of the time of this report, the execution of this prisoner, who was the father of a daughter, has not been announced by state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
