The death sentence of Mouloud Khaledian, a Kurdish prisoner from Qorveh, convicted of “premeditated murder,” was carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison, Karaj. He was executed alongside six other prisoners on the same day.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mouloud Khaledian was executed at dawn on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, in Ghezel Hesar Prison, Karaj, along with six other prisoners.

Sources revealed that Khaledian had been arrested approximately four years ago for premeditated murder in Tehran and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Mouloud Khaledian, who was married and a father of one child, was from the village of Qamlu, near the town of Qorveh in Kurdistan Province (Sanandaj).

Hengaw had previously reported that at least seven prisoners, including two Afghan nationals and a woman, were executed in Ghezel Hesar Prison on Wednesday. With the identification of Mouloud Khaledian, the identities of four of the executed prisoners have now been confirmed by Hengaw. The identities of the two Afghan nationals and the woman, who was executed for the murder of her husband, are still under investigation.

While the executions of five of the seven prisoners were reported in state media, the executions of two individuals convicted of drug-related offenses have not been officially announced.
