A Baloch man killed, and two injured by direct Police fire in Zahedan

A Baloch man, identified as Mohammad Kabdani, was shot and killed by law enforcement forces in Zahedan, while two others, Hamed Kabdani and Ahmad Nahtani, were injured after being physically assaulted by security forces. Additionally, two others with the surname Nahtani (first names unknown) were arrested.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday night, February 8, 2025, Mohammad Kabdani, a
21-year-old Baloch resident of Shirabad (a district in Zahedan), was fatally shot in the head by Iranian police forces in Zahedan's Joint Market. Two other
Zahedan residents, Hamed Kabdani (19) and Ahmad Nahtani, were wounded by plainclothes intelligence agents.

Mohammad Kabdani, a cousin of Khodanour Lajaei—one of the victims of Zahedan's "Bloody Friday" massacre— was shot and killed in front of his shoe store during a confrontation between local residents.

Additionally, Hamed Kabdani and Ahmad Nahtani were subjected to severe beatings by security forces. Hamed suffered head injuries after being struck with a hard object.
