Four prisoners executed in Isfahan Central Prison

The death sentences of four prisoners—Ezzat Hosseini Doraki, Ali Es-haqi, Mohammad Shamseddin Arbab, and Majid Baluch —who had previously been sentenced to death in separate drug-related cases, were carried out in Isfahan Central Prison.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Monday, February 17, 2025, the execution of Ezzat Hosseini Doraki, 49, from Fooladshahr; Ali Es-haqi, 39, from Zarrinshahr; Mohammad Shamseddin Arbab, 40, from Kashan; and Majid Baluch from Kerman was carried out in Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd Prison).

Hengaw has learned that these four prisoners were recently transferred from Ward 4 of Isfahan Central Prison to solitary confinement and had their final visits with their families the day before the execution.

According to Hengaw sources, the four prisoners were arrested four years ago in separate cases on drug-related charges and were sentenced to death by the judiciary.

As of the time of this report, the execution of these four prisoners has not been announced by state media, particularly outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
