Qasr-e Shirin: Two Kurdish Yarsan Followers Arrested, their whereabouts unknown

Two Kurdish followers of the Yarsan faith, Loqman Veysi and Naser Azizi, have been arrested by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence in Qasr-e Shirin, Kermanshah Province. More than a week later, their fate remains unknown.
According to reports received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, 19-year-old Naser Azizi and 18-year-old were arrested on Saturday, February 15, 2025, in Qasr-e Shirin.
IRGC Intelligence forces raided their family homes and arrested them without presenting search warrants.
Despite repeated inquiries, their families have been unable to obtain any information regarding their whereabouts or condition.
As of this report, no details have been provided about the reasons for their arrest, the charges against them, or their place of detention.
