Iliya Karami, a 17-year-old Kurdish Yarsan minor from Dalahu, was arrested by Iranian security forces. Thirty-five days after his detention, authorities have disclosed no information about his whereabouts or condition.

Based on information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Karami, who is from Kermanshah and resides in Saveh, remains in an undisclosed location despite the passage of 35 days since his arrest. Repeated inquiries by his family have gone unanswered, as security institutions have refused to provide any clarification.

Informed sources told Hengaw that he was detained on January 8, 2026, during protests in Saveh.

Since his arrest, he has been denied contact with his family and access to legal counsel. The continuation of this incommunicado detention has raised serious concerns about his safety, health, and overall well-being.
