Kermanshah: Mojtaba Vaisi, a Kurdish Yarsan adherent, forcibly arrested by IRGC Intelligence Forces

Mojtaba Vaisi, a Kurdish activist, a follower of the Yarsan faith, and one of the organizers of the Newroz celebrations in Kermanshah (Kermashan), was forcibly arrested by IRGC intelligence forces in the city.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, IRGC intelligence forces violently arrested 36-year-old Mojtaba Vaisi in Shirin Park, leaving his young daughter, who was with him at the time, behind at the scene.
It is noteworthy that in recent days, Mojtaba Vaisi, along with a group of cultural activists in Kermashan, had been preparing for Newroz celebrations. However, security forces have been actively attempting to prevent the event from taking place.
So far, no precise information the charges against him, his place of detention, or his current condition.
