Report on the identification of three of the seven Kurdish Prisoners executed in Dizelabad Prison, Kermanshah

The identities of three Kurdish prisoners, named Mahdi Jalilian, Sharif Ahmadi, and Javad Mihandoost, who were executed in Dizelabad Prison, Kermanshah, in early March of this year, have been confirmed. With this, the identities of all seven prisoners who were executed on this day in this prison have been confirmed by Hengaw.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the death sentences of 27-year-old Mahdi Jalilian, 41-year-old Sharif Ahmadi, and 33-year-old Javad Mihandoost, all from Kermanshah, were carried out in the central prison of the city (Dizelabad Prison).

These three prisoners had previously been arrested for drug-related charges in separate cases and were sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

On the same day, the death sentences of 27-year-old Milad Moradi, 31-year-old Ali Cheshmesafidi, 36-year-old Mohammad Faridoni, and 36-year-old Behrouz Safari Ghaleh-Zanjiri, who had been previously sentenced to death for charges of “premeditated murder,” were also executed in Dizelabad Prison.

To date, the news of the execution of these seven Kurdish prisoners has not been announced by state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
