Iraj Memari from Kashmar executed in Khorramabad Central Prison

The death sentence of Iraj Memari, a prisoner from Kashmar, Razavi Khorasan Province, convicted on drug-related charges, was carried out in Khorramabad Central Prison (Parsilon Prison).

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Sunday, March 2, 2025, Iraj Memari, 29 years old, a father of one, and a resident of Kashmar, was executed in Parsilon Prison, Khorramabad.

Iraj Memari had been in detention for three years and was sentenced to death by the judiciary for drug-related offenses.

As of the time of this report, state-affiliated media, particularly those linked to the judiciary, have not announced this execution.
