Death sentence of Rahim Rahimnejad, prisoner from Baneh carried out in Kerman

The death sentence of a Kurdish prisoner from Baneh, identified as Rahim Rahimnejad, also known as “Yadgar,” was carried out in Kerman Central Prison. He had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges. Simultaneously, a Baloch prisoner was also executed.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, the death sentence of 41-year-old Rahim Rahimnejad from Baneh was carried out in Kerman Central Prison.
Yadgar Rahimnejad was arrested two years ago in Kerman and sentenced to death by Branch 4 of the Revolutionary Court of the city on charges related to drug offenses.
Simultaneously with this execution, the death sentence of Abubakr Shahbakhsh, a 36-year-old Baloch prisoner from the village of Sarjangal in the vicinity of Zahedan, was also carried out in Kerman Prison. Hengaw had previously reported the execution of this prisoner.
As of the time of this report, the execution of these prisoners has not been announced by state media, particularly those affiliated with the judiciary.
