Death sentences carried out for Mohammad Ahmadzadeh, Behnam Bargpush, and Reza Tabarteh Farahani in Yasuj and Arak Prisons

Three prisoners named Mohammad Ahmadzadeh, Behnam Bargpush, and Reza Tabarteh Farahani, who had been sentenced to death on charges related to “narcotics” and “sodomy,” were executed in the central prisons of Yasuj and Arak.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, the death sentence of Reza Tabarteh Farahani, a native of Arak, was carried out in the city’s central prison on charges of “sodomy.”
Reza Tabarteh Farahani had been arrested seven years ago on the charge of sodomy and sentenced to death by the judiciary. He had been transferred to solitary confinement on Monday, April 21, 2025, in preparation for the execution.
On the other hand, at dawn on Monday, April 21, 2025, the death sentences of two prisoners, Mohammad Ahmadzadeh, 29 years old, and Behnam Bargpush, also from the village of Gachin Bala, a district of Bandar Abbas, were carried out in Yasuj Central Prison on charges related to narcotics.
According to informed sources, the two individuals had been arrested five years ago in a joint case on charges related to narcotics crimes and were sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
As of the time of this report, the executions of these three prisoners have not been announced by state media, especially those affiliated with the judiciary.
