Ebrahim Narouei and Majid Faramarzi executed in Zahedan Central Prison

The executions of two Baloch prisoners, Ebrahim Narouei and Majid Faramarzi—also known as "Kashani"—were carried out at Zahedan Central Prison. Both men had been convicted of "premeditated murder" in separate cases and sentenced to death by the judiciary of Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the executions took place at dawn on Monday, May 19, 2025, in Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan Province.

 Ebrahim Narouei, aged 24 and a father of four, was arrested three years ago. Majid Faramarzi was detained two years ago. Both were convicted in separate legal proceedings and subsequently sentenced to death.

Sources confirmed that the two prisoners were granted a final visit with their families in the prison’s quarantine section on the day prior to the execution.

The executions have not been reported by state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
