Execution of Baloch prisoner Abdullah Pashan carried out in Kerman Province

The death sentence of Abdullah Pashan (also known as Ali Raeisi), a Baloch prisoner from Rudbar in Kerman Province, was carried out at Kahnouj Prison. Pashan had previously been convicted on drug-related charges.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution took place at dawn on Monday, May 19, 2025. Abdullah Pashan, 36 years old and a father of three, had been held in custody for four years following his arrest in Manujan. He was sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court for involvement in narcotics offenses.

The execution has not been officially reported by state media, including outlets affiliated with or close to Iran’s judiciary.
