Three Kurdish prisoners executed in Ilam Central Prison for premeditated murder

The death sentences of three Kurdish prisoners—Adnan Labakpour, a man identified only as Reza, and Behrouz Fattahollahi—have been carried out in Ilam Central Prison. All three were convicted of premeditated murder.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Labakpour and Reza, both from Ilam, were executed on Saturday, May 17, 2025. They had been arrested in separate murder cases and sentenced to death by Iran’s judiciary.

Hengaw had earlier reported the execution of Behrouz Fattahollahi, also from Ilam, who had been arrested around five years ago and convicted on similar charges.

As of this report, state media and judiciary-affiliated outlets have not acknowledged any of the executions.
