Execution of Ali Vaezi carried out at Semnan Central Prison

The death sentence of Ali Vaezi, a prisoner convicted on drug-related charges, was carried out at Semnan Central Prison.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution took place at dawn on Friday, June 13, 2025.

Sources familiar with the case reported that Vaezi had been arrested nearly four years ago on charges related to drug offenses and was later sentenced to death.

The execution has not been reported by state media, including outlets affiliated with the Iranian judiciary.
