According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Monday, June 9, 2025, Khorrami’s death sentence was executed in Karaj Central Prison. He had been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Earlier the same day, Hengaw reported the execution of two Kurdish prisoners, Karim Hemmati and Hamzeh Yari, in the same prison. Both had also been sentenced to death on drug-related charges.
Separately, on Saturday, June 7, 2025, the death sentences of Haqdoust and an unidentified Afghan national prisoner were carried out in Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad. Both were arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court.
