Hassan Mansouri, prisoner from Ilam, executed in Malayer Prison

Hassan Mansouri, a Kurdish prisoner from Ilam, was executed in Malayer Central Prison, Hamadan province. He had previously been convicted on drug-related charges.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mansouri’s execution was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

Mansouri was arrested six years ago on drug-related charges and later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

His execution has not been officially announced by state media or any judiciary-affiliated outlets.
