Kurdish prisoner Saeed Qubadi executed in Kermanshah Central Prison

The death sentence of Saeed Qubadi, a Kurdish prisoner from Sarpol-e Zahab in Kermanshah Province, was carried out in Kermanshah Central Prison (Dizelabad). He had been convicted on charges of “premeditated murder.”

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Sunday, September 21, 2025, Qubadi was executed in Dizelabad Prison, Kermanshah.

Informed sources stated that, he was arrested seven years ago on charges of killing his wife and later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

His execution has not been acknowledged by Iranian state media, including judiciary-affiliated outlets.
