Iranian authorities execute three Kurds in Kermanshah

The Iranian authorities have executed three Kurdish prisoners, Saeed Ghobadi, Kazem Jamashourani and Hadi Nowruzi, who had been sentenced to death for “premeditated murder,” at Kermanshah (Kermashan) Central Prison.
According to reports obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the executions were carried out at dawn on September 21, 2025, in Dizelabad Prison, Kermanshah. Ghobadi was from Sarpol-e Zahab, while Jamashourani, 27, and Nowruzi were from Kermanshah.
Sources said Nowruzi had been convicted of murder, Ghobadi was arrested seven years ago for killing his wife, and Jamashourani was detained a year and four months ago on charges of murdering his cousin. All three were sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
State media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary, had not reported the executions.
