Reza Shahlaeinia executed in Kerman Central Prison

The death sentence of Kurdish prisoner Reza Shahlaeinia, a resident of Qorveh, has been carried out in Kerman Central Prison. He had been convicted on drug-related charges.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Shahlaeinia was executed at dawn on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Sources confirmed that he had previously been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

State media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary, have not announced the execution.
