Executions in Kermanshah Central Prison rise to four

The number of prisoners executed in Kermanshah (Kermashan) Central Prison has risen to four, following the execution of Kurdish prisoner Kamyar Barati Sarvenavi. The identities of three others, Saeed Amiri, Mehrdad Shahidi, and Gholamali Nazarian, had already been confirmed.
According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Barati Sarvenavi, a resident of Sarfirozabad in Kermanshah, was executed at dawn on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. He had been arrested on charges of “premeditated murder” and sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Earlier, Hengaw Organization for Human Rights reported the executions of three other Kurdish prisoners from Kermanshah in the same facility on the same day. Amiri, aged 30, Shahidi, aged 33, and Nazarian had each been convicted in separate cases on charges of “premeditated murder” and sentenced to death.
The executions have not been reported by state media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
