The death sentence of Keyvan Mohammadi, a 29-year-old Kurdish resident of Dehgolan (Diwlan) in Sanandaj (Sine) County, was carried out in Zanjan Central Prison. He had been convicted on drug-related charges.
According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mohammadi, who was originally from Dehgolan and living in Eslamshahr, Tehran, was executed at dawn on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
A relative reported that Mohammadi had been arrested two years earlier on drug-related charges and later sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
