Khodayar Faraji and Meysam Khodadadi executed in Birjand and Gorgan Prisons

The death sentences of two prisoners, Khodayar Faraji and Meysam Khodadadi, both convicted of “premeditated murder,” were carried out in the central prisons of Birjand and Gorgan.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, Khodayar Faraji was executed in Birjand Central Prison, South Khorasan Province. He had been sentenced to death on murder charges.

Separately, at dawn on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, Meysam Khodadadi, approximately 40 years old, was executed in Gorgan Central Prison. He had been arrested four years earlier on charges of premeditated murder and later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

The executions of Faraji and Khodadadi have not been reported by Iranian state media or judiciary-affiliated outlets.
