The death sentence of Shawkat Veysi, a female prisoner convicted on drug-related charges, has been carried out in Damghan Central Prison in Semnan Province.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Veysi was executed at dawn on Sunday, November 16, 2025 in Damghan Central Prison.

Veysi had been arrested on drug-related charges several years earlier and was subsequently sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

The execution has not been reported by Iranian state media or outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
