Peyman Azizi executed in Kermanshah Central Prison

Iranian authorities executed Kurdish prisoner, Peyman Azizi, in Dizelabad Prison in Kermanshah (Kermashan) after convicting him on charges of “premeditated murder.”

Based on information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, authorities carried out Azizi’s execution at dawn on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Kermanshah Central Prison. Azizi, 21, was from Salas Babajani in Kermanshah Province.

According to informed sources, Azizi had been detained three years earlier on accusations of killing a Basij member during his compulsory military service. He was 19 years old and serving as a conscript at the time of the alleged offence. Azizi was subsequently sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

Iranian state media and outlets affiliated with the judiciary have not released any information regarding his execution.
