Married couple Mina Sadoughi and Farrokh Pourfarzi secretly executed in Shiraz

The death sentences of a married couple, Mina Sadoughi and Farrokh Pourfarzi, were carried out in secret in Shiraz Central Prison (Adelabad). Both had been sentenced to death in a joint drug-related case.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the couple were executed at dawn on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in Shiraz Central Prison.
Sadoughi, 41, and Pourfarzi, 50, were residents of Mohammadshahr, Karaj, and parents to three children.
The couple had been arrested one year and nine months ago on charges of drug transportation and were subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Their executions were carried out without either being allowed a final visit with their children or other relatives.
The executions have not been announced by Iranian state media or outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
