Sasan Mehrani executed in Sanandaj Central Prison

A Kurdish prisoner, Sasan Mehrani, who had previously been sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the charge of “premeditated murder,” was executed in Sanandaj (Sine) Central Prison.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution of Mehrani was carried out at dawn on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in Sanandaj Central Prison.

Sources informed Hengaw that Mehrani had been arrested earlier on the charge of “premeditated murder” and was later sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
