Safa Niazi executed in Shahr-e Kord Central Prison

The death sentence of Safa Niazi, a Kurdish prisoner from Sanandaj (Sine) convicted of premeditated murder, has been carried out in Shahr-e Kord Central Prison.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Niazi was executed at dawn on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Sources familiar with the case said Niazi was arrested three years ago on charges of premeditated murder and was subsequently sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.

The execution has not been reported by Iranian state media or outlets affiliated with the judiciary.
