Milad Heydari executed at Marvdasht Central Prison on murder charges

Iranian authorities have executed Milad Heydari, a prisoner previously sentenced to death on charges of “premeditated murder,” at Marvdasht Central Prison in Fars Province.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution of the 36-year-old prisoner was carried out during the early hours of Monday, May 11, 2026.

Sources familiar with the case told Hengaw that Milad Heydari had been arrested approximately four years ago on charges of “premeditated murder.” He remained detained in Marvdasht Prison from the time of his arrest until the implementation of his death sentence.

Iranian state media and official judiciary-affiliated outlets have not publicly announced the execution.
