Minor among at least 10 injured or arrested during raid by Iranian forces in Izeh

At least seven residents, including a 15-year-old child, were arrested and three others, including a woman, were injured after Iranian forces raided the village of Pian in Izeh County. The identities of the detainees have been confirmed as Alborz Ramezani, Arad Kouchaki, 15, Saman Taqizadeh, Fardad Rahmani, Askar Bodaghi, Hamzeh Ramezani, and Mohammad Salahshour.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the raid took place around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, when plainclothes agents and police forces, using a vehicle mounted with a machine gun, stormed the village and carried out the arrests.

Hengaw has learned that Arezu Malmali was injured after being struck by gunfire, while Keramat Kouchaki sustained head injuries after being beaten with a weapon. Another resident, Heybatollah Abbasi, was also injured during the assault.

Fouad Choubin, the uncle of Artin Rahmani, the child killed during the Woman, Life, Freedom (Jin, Jiyan, Azadi) movement, stated in a social media post that the forces also destroyed several local shops and looted property belonging to residents during the raid.

According to the same source, the forces vandalized photographs of Artin Rahmani and painted pro-government and threatening slogans across the village, including messages pledging allegiance to former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, warnings such as “We Will Return Again,” and insults targeting Fouad Choubin and his family.

Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for the arrests, the charges against the detainees, their whereabouts, or their current condition.
