Two Kurds, including a minor, detained by IRGC intelligence forces in Mahabad

IRGC intelligence forces raided the village of Kuseh Kahriz in Mahabad and detained two Kurdish individuals, identified as 17-year-old Ehsan Khorramabad and Mikaeil Dudkanlou Milan, transferring them to an undisclosed location.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the arrests were carried out in the early hours of Tuesday, May 12, 2026, when armed IRGC intelligence agents stormed the family homes of Ehsan Khorramabad, a 17-year-old minor, and Mikaeil Dudkanlou Milan, known as “Shouresh,” aged 40, without presenting warrants. The two were detained through intimidation and violence.
Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for their arrests or their whereabouts, and the families’ attempts to obtain information have so far been unsuccessful.
