Kurdish prisoner Fayeq Ahmadi executed in Sari Central Prison

Iranian authorities have executed Fayeq Ahmadi, a Kurdish man from Kermanshah (Kermashan) who lived in Mazandaran Province. He had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the 39-year-old man was executed in the early hours of Sunday, 21 June 2026, at Sari Central Prison.
Ahmadi had been arrested two years earlier on drug-related charges and was later sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court of Sari.
The execution has not been announced by Iranian state media or official Judiciary-affiliated outlets.
