Ten years of imprisonment for two Kurdish citizens in sina

Hengaw: Two Kurds from Sna-Kurdistan were sentenced to 10-years in prison According to reports received by Hengaw, a Human Rights Watch reporting on the human rights violations in Kurdistan and Iran, Almas Rezaie and Sarwar Moradian from Sna were sentenced to 10 years in prison. Mr. Rezaie and Mr. Moradian are from ‘Tangasar’, a village located in the outskirts of Sna. The two were incarcerated by the Iranian authorities and were held in solidarity confinement for 4 month without their families’ knowledge this past summer. In the last couple of days, the two were handed a lengthy sentence for their alleged collaboration with the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) Peshmerga Forces in Sawlawa where the two forces clashed. Mr. Rezaie sentenced to 6-years and Mr. Moradian to 4-years in prison are currently serving their sentences in the Mariwan central prison.
