Hengaw: Kurd prisoner, after 66 days of hunger strike, has not yet addressed his demands.
Mohammad Nazari, a Kurdish political prisoner, has been on hunger strike for more than two months, according to a report from the Human Rights Watch of Hengaw.
14 days ago, on the 53rd day of his hunger strike, he was in a very bad physical condition and returned to his cell after an outpatient treatment at a prison clinic. Mohammad's condition was somewhat severe, and he even returned water.
The Kurd prisoner had been on hunger strike since the 9th of August this year along with several other prisoners, and now he is on strike at the 66th day.
Mohammad Nazari was arrested by the security forces of Abuzar Bokan on May 30 1994, and has since been detained in the Orumiyah and Rajai Shahr prisons.
The Kurd citizen was sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary and then sentenced to life imprisonment with a sentence of resignation.
After amending the law in 1992, all the imprisonments for a maximum period of more than 25 years are converted into a provisional first-class imprisonment (under 30 years of age).
