Shirko Tabnak, a political prisoner from Bukan, was released from Bukan Central Prison on Friday, May 6, 2022, after completing his five-month sentence. 
 
Shirko Tabnak was arrested by Bukan's intelligence service at 8 am on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, and was released on bail of 300 million Tomans for four days until a court hearing. 
 
He was finally sentenced to 5 months imprisonment and 7 months suspended imprisonment by Branch 101 of the Bukan Criminal Court, headed by Judge Peyman Rostami, on charges of "propaganda against the regime" by publishing pictures of Dr. Ghassemlou and supporting the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). 
 
The Kurdish citizen had introduced himself to Bukan Central Prison on Saturday, December 11, last year to serve his sentence.
