Yousef Amini, 52, "Gorgavi" (Fajrabad) village in Oshnavyeh, who had previously been sentenced to two years in prison by the judiciary system, was arrested on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, after being summoned to Oshnavyeh Judgment Enforcement to serve his sentence. He was transferred to the city's central prison.
Hengaw had previously reported that Yousef Amini had been arrested on Monday, January 24, 2022, after being summoned to the Oshnavyeh Intelligence Service. After several days of interrogation, he was temporarily released until the end of the trial.
A hearing on the charges against Yousef Amini was held on February 26, 2022, and he was sentenced to two years in prison on charges of "membership in the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran" by Branch 1 of the Oshnavyeh Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge "Rezaei". He was officially notified of the verdict in April this year.
It is worth mentioning that the sentence has been reduced from two years of imprisonment to 18 months of imprisonment after submitting it to the judge.
