In Karaj, IRI forces killed a man from Kangavar

Ehsan Ghasmifar, a man from Kangavar city, Kermanshah Province, was killed a few nights ago in Karaj by direct fire from Iranian government forces. His burial ceremony will be held in his hometown on Sunday, December 4, 2022.

Ehsan Ghasmifar, a citizen of Kangavar and a resident of the Sarasiab neighborhood of Karaj city, was reportedly killed by the close-range direct fire of the government forces late on the evening of Wednesday, November 30, 2022, according to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.

An informed source says that Ehsan Ghasmifar, who had gone shopping, was active on Instagram live when the government forces approached him and shut off his connection. A few hours later, the news of his death was made public.

Hengaw has been informed that Ehsan Ghasmifar's body was given to his family on December 3 and that his funeral would take place in the Behesht Zahra Cemetery in Kangavar on December 4 at 10 a.m.

One of Ghasmifar's family members says that the security agencies have put pressure on the family to attribute his death to a heart attack.
