Seven Kurdish citizens from Piranshahr were sentenced to a total of 64 years and nine months of imprisonment

Ali Bakhshodi, Ehsan Gulabi, Mohammad Ebrahimi, Hiwa Mahmoudi, Ismail Tajala, Aram Khalidi Nasab, and Alireza Mohammadi Arshad, Kurdish citizens from Piranshahr who were arrested during the recent popular resistance, were sentenced to prison by Branch 102 of the 2nd Iranian Criminal Court in this city.

According to the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ali Bakhshori, 39, Ehsan Gulabi, 20, and Mohammad Ebrahimi Arshad, 29, were sentenced to 5 years in prison for "membership in the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan," 5 years for "community and collusion against national security," one year for "propaganda against the regime," and 3 years for "filming from government property." In total, each of them has been sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment, of which, according to the Law on Consolidation of Sentences, 5 years are enforceable.

According to a document obtained by Hengaw, 22-year-old Ismail Tajala, 23-year-old Aram Khalidi Nasab, and 22-year-old Alireza Mohammadi Arshad were sentenced to 32 months in prison for the charges of "membership in the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan," 3 years and 7 months for the charge of "community and collusion against national security," and 8 months for the charge of "propaganda against the regime." In total, they were sentenced to 6 years and 11 months of imprisonment, for which the sentence of 3 years and 7 months of imprisonment is enforceable.

Also, 32-year-old Hiwa Mahmoudi has been sentenced to two years in prison for the charge of "community and collusion against national security."

These seven citizens from the "Pasveh" village of Piranshahr were arrested by the Iranian government institutions during the popular resistance of this city, and after some time they were released on bail.
