Amid the recent wave of executions of Balooch residents in recent days, the death sentences of two Balooch, Ehsan Gargij and Musa Gargij, have been executed in Bandar Abbas central prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, early on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, both Ehsan Gargij, a 30-year-old, and Musa Gargij, a 55-year-old, from Zahedan, were executed in the central prison of Bandar Abbas.
According to a post published by "Hal Wash," both residents were arrested in 2020 and later, at the beginning of 2022, were both charged with drug-related crimes and sentenced to death by the revolutionary court of Bandar Abbas.
Based on statistics recorded in Hengaw’s center for documented statistics, in the past 4 days, at least 12 Balooch prisoners in Zahedan, Iranshahr, Birjand, Mashhad, and Bandar Abbas have been executed.
