Anisha Asdullahi, a labor activist and interpreter for the union of the workers of the Vahdat company, was sentenced to five years and eight months of imprisonment by the revolutionary court in Tehran.
According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Anisha Asadullahi was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment on charges of "assembly and collusion" and 8 months' imprisonment on charges of "propaganda against the regime" by the 26th branch of the revolutionary court in Theran, headed by Iman Afshari judge.
This verdict was formally given to Anisha Asdullahi's lawyer on Sunday, May 14. According to the Consolidation of Sentences Law, five years of these sentences are enforceable.
On April 28, this labor activist was arrested by government forces at the house of Mohammad Habibi, a teacher union activist.
It should be mentioned that during the last few years, Anisha Asdullahi has been arrested several times.
She was released temporarily on one billion toman bail on Monday, May 11, 2023, from 209 cell in Evin Prison.
