The death sentences of two prisoners from Jahrom named Alireza Shahcheraghi and Taher Nouri, who were previously sentenced to death for drug-related crimes, were executed in Shiraz Central Prison.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Sunday, June 11, 2023, the death sentences of two prisoners named Taher Nouri, 38, and Alireza Shahcheraghi, both from Jahrom, were executed in Adel Abad prison in Shiraz city.
These two prisoners were arrested three years ago in two separate cases on charges of drug-related crimes and were later sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
