In the continuation of the wave of punishment imposed on the people who were arrested during the "Jin, Jiyan, Azadî" movement, four citizens of Piranshahr: Bapir Barzeh, Muhammad Ismaeili, Ismaeil Muhammadpour, and Zana Khushaman were sentenced to imprisonment.
 

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, four individuals who were arrested in Piranshahr last autumn on charges of "being a member of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan" were sentenced to prison terms by the first branch of the Mahabad revolutionary court presided over by judge Amir Ojaqlo.
 

Based on this verdict, Bapir Barzeh received a sentence of three years in prison, Muhammad Ismaeili received a sentence of two years and eight months, Ismaeil Muhammadpour received a sentence of four years and six months, and Zana Khushaman received a sentence of two years and one month in prison.
 

This verdict was officially announced to them today, Thursday, June 15, 2023.
 

 During the resistance of Piranshahr, Bapir Barzeh, Muhammad Ismaeili, Ismaeil Muhammadpour, and Zana Khushaman were arrested and after a few months they were released on heavy bail.
