Bukan: Ali GolMohammadi was detained to execute the sentence of imprisonment

Ali GolMohammadi, who was detained during the "Jin, Jiyan, Azadî" revolutionary movement in Bukan, was detained and taken to this city's prison for execution of a one-year prison sentence.
 

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ali GolMohammadi, a citizen from Bukan, was detained on Saturday June 24, 2023, and he was taken to this city's central prison to execute his one-year term.

In May of this year, Ali GolMohammadi from Bukan was sentenced to 32 months of imprisonment by the second branch of the criminal court of Bukan on charges of connection with a Kurdish oppression party, participating in protests against the Iranian government, and distributing flyers and announcements against the government. According to the accumulative sentence’s article in the Islamic Republic Panel Law, the one-year prison sentence is executable.
 

Mr. GolMohammadi was taken into custody by the Iranian authorities on January 15th, 2023, and a month later, on February 16th, 2023, he was released on bail while waiting for trial.

It is worth noticing that Ali GolMohammadi was deprived of his basic rights, including access to a lawyer, the right to visitation, and other basic things.
