Sabin Yazdani, a Baha'i citizen who was previously sentenced to three years in prison by the Iranian Judiciary has been arrested and transferred to Kechoi prison in Karaj to serve her sentence. 
 

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, August 6, 2023, Sabin Yazdani, a Baha'i citizen living in Karaj, was arrested and transferred to Kechoui prison to serve her three-year prison sentence.
 

Sabin Yazdani was previously sentenced to 3 years in prison by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court of Karaj, which was approved by Branch 12 of the Alborz Court of Appeal in June 2023.
 

She was also sentenced to five years of deprivation of social rights, two years of ban on staying in Alborz province, two years of ban on leaving the country, and two years of ban on any educational and cultural activities.
